Jackson Blondeau
RMT, BSc, SE™ Student
I am a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and have been in practice since 2019. Prior to obtaining my RMT credentials, I spent time studying Biology and Psychology, and now bring my knowledge of the nervous system into my interaction with clients. I am currently a student of Somatic Experiencing® (SE™), a therapeutic approach aimed at addressing how trauma and adverse experiences can manifest as nervous system dysregulation, and how this shows up in our bodies.
I was initially drawn to massage and manual therapy after physical and emotional hardships from various events that had impacted my life. I had a profoundly helpful experience receiving manual therapy that shifted my perception of how I was holding my body and expressing myself. It brought me a sense of hope knowing that I was capable of making changes while building capacity to comfortably handle life’s stressors. I began exploring various approaches and philosophies to help reconnect to this healthy sense of self. I have committed my life to help facilitate similarly helpful experiences for other people.
My time spent in private practice has allowed me to explore various modalities and how they relate to the nervous system’s ability to self-regulate and heal. I believe that nervous system capacity comes from the ability to endure life’s stressors, the awareness to recognize our body’s felt sense of inner vitality, and the courage and curiosity to move and express this vitality in an authentic way. The body has an innate capability to heal itself, it just needs some encouragement to do so. I am here to help you with this.
Clear Water Therapeutics is an ongoing practice that has brought me a sense of meaning and purpose, and allows me to share insight on the various approaches that have helped with my general health and well-being. I am on this journey with you. Thank you for being here.
